After watching Khan...

    Right, Shoot me down if you want but while watching the aftermath of the fight I thought of a new rule in the event of a cut like this. Well, the fighter that has the cut is given 1minute for the corner to work on the cut but is deducted 1point.

    I think this is a good idea.

    However Im on my 8th can of Tuborg so I'll see what I think tomorrow if I remember

    Its accidental, so i think its a shame if they're deducted a point.

    I'd go just one minute to work on it, especially since they give 5 mins to recover from a shot to the balls.

    How about the doctor cant decide on cuts, only the corner and fighter can.

    the rule should just be don't have **** refs and docs.

    Luis Pabon is a good ref. I kinda felt sorry for him because I'm sure it was based on the Doctor's advice to call it off, wasn't it?

    I have not seen the Brook v Jennings fight was that cut worse than this.

    ref always has final call. the refs are not boxing people.

    honestly though if the fight had been competitive i think it would of continued.

    Good point, but I seriously think this could work, had this rule actually exist just imagine how different many fights would have been.

    the ref has final say.

    allowing the fighter and corner to have final say is the worst idea ever.
