The Ruiz loss was an embarrassment for sure, though he did win the rematch and has some success after that loss, so I see that loss more of the hype being exposed and a weakness in Joshua being exposed for being more businessman than boxer back then which is why since he's talked so much about being a fighter and warrior and that's who he is when in reality he's a brand and business man first, fighter 2nd. Maybe once he was a fighter but all that money and fame took the edge off him.

AJ was awful tonight, worst version of Joshua I have ever seen, even worse than the one who was beaten by Ruiz. He's usually been defensively responsible, especially after Ruiz stopped him but he was leaning back with his hand down again and again and that just invited DDD to walk him down.

I don't think AJ was mentally right going into the fight, he showed up late, he was staring into space before the fight started like his mind was somewhere else while DDD looked locked in and ready to go to war again and when the bell rung Joshua just timidly flicked out the jab and backed up allowing Dubois to dictate the fight from the first bell. His antics in the ring too, was odd, sticking out his tongue and talking to people ring side while he staggered around the ring. He seemed embarrassed by his performance and was trying to kid the audience that everything was OK, apparently how he looked was more important than not getting KO'ed.

I'd just feed him some bum so as to not go out so shamefully and retire. Dude's done and I'm not even an AJ hater, always liked him but yeah. Every dog has its day.

Hell yes. Those two were seen as the biggest puncher of the outgoing generation. Show the world that they missed out on the real biggest puncher! :ggg

AJs tactics were shockingly bad from the start. Thats not saying DD isn't good , he fought a great fight. I was convinced AJ would be too quick for him. His timing and confidence was nonexistent

The more I watch that knock out the more 2nd hand embarrassment I feel, that was so amateur like from Joshua, He hurt dubois closes him down gets caught by a right then goes for a uppercut and then gets caught again by a right and is left scrambling to get up with his arse in the air!!
His been in the game long enough but hasn't learned anything, that ruiz 1 all over again but worse because he was getting beaten up from the first round. He is physically a specimen but isn't smart and I can't see how he comes back from this, if they fight again dubois will have even less respect for him
