http://www.spin.ph/boxing/news/alex-stewart-heavyweight-cotender-mike-tyson-george-foreman Another boxer who died too young. Gave Foreman and Holyfield hell. If he'd been around in the mid 2000's, he possibly could have gotten an alphabet World title.
Always a game fighter with cement bricks for fists. His wars with Holyfield were great boxing. Will be missed. R.I.P.
Terrible news. I liked Alex, who was by all accounts a good guy. He was the only guy to make Foreman look like a gargoyle. Really sad that he died way too early.
RIP. Damn. Can't recall ever reading or hearing a bad word about him as a person. (And if you have, I'd rather not hear it - save it for another time out of respect, please.) Always gave it his all, in the big ones came up a little short but fought like a true pro. Blood clot in his lung, apparently. Just looked it up and he's my age, 52. Godspeed, Destroyer.
