Alexander KO`s Urango

Did not expect that, thought it would be a ud but did not think he could knock out urango.

 

I didn't watch this, how was the KO?, one punch or TKO?

 

it was TKO, the ref waved it off after a 2nd knockdown

 

Stoppage was premature. . .I think Urango could have survived. But still a great win for Alexander. He has a nice right uppercut. Seems he's headed for Bradley.

 

So now he is the unified lightweight champ right??

Now this is what you do against a limited opponent when you are fighting on HBO, not that bull**** Berto pulled against Urango.

 

I expected Alexander to win but I didn't think he would stop Urango.

The KO was impressive, he knocked him down with a counter uppercut that actually lifted Urango off of his feet before he came back down and fell and the second knock down came from a straight right hand followed by a grazing uppercut as Urango sagged onto Alexander while falling.

 

If you have more than 1 major belt, you're a unified champ.

Yeah Urango was gone. It was a good decision by the ref to stop the fight.

 

He was also getting hit with alot of shots, just look at his face, that kind of punishment should be avoided, good decision by the ref.
