Devon Alexander and Lucas Matthysse have agreed to fight on June 25 in Alexander's hometown of St. Louis, Richard Schaefer, Matthysse’s promoter, told RingTV.com on Friday afternoon.

Dont see him losing on points in his hometown even if he is beaten.

I think it'll be an interesting fight. I wouldn't be surprised if Matthysse managed to hurt Alexander, but if it does go to the cards, it's hard to imagine Alexander losing.

Alexander is too passive to beat Matthysse. LM is not the guy who'll test your heart like Maidana will but he comes to fight and will be a stiff test for Alexander. Props to both for taking this fight but most likely Lucas ruins him. Judah "beat"(robbery) him with straight punches so Alexander's weak jabs & screaming won't keep Matthysse off him.

 

Devons gonna be looking for the impressive win here..... I got him by fairly wide UD but this is a great test for him in the heart dept. If he can get by a rough guy like Matthysse that will help him get over the shameful quit job vs Bradley and bring him back to a top 5 player in the division.

 

Matthysse by KO. He's not going to allow himself to get jobbed again like he did against Judah.
