    I don`t think Ali the movie captured Ali`s energy and charisma very well at all, but did the fight scenes do justice to Ali`s iconic fights?

    Eh, best they could do, I suppose - everything Ali did was so spontaneous, trying to mimic that kind of energy kind of has to fall short. That iconic shot of Ali over Liston: when they filmed it, doubtless Smith must have done it many times until Mann felt it was right ... vs Ali reacting in a flash to Liston’s perceived dive. Take nothing away from Smith’s efforts, but the champ was a hard act to follow

    Ali was such a boring movie. Maybe because his story has been told so many times.

    The movie---awful. The fighter fantastic. The human,,,,, makes me me ill. Most overrated human of the 20th century. Please debate me..... . Godsppeed
