What are you saying? Green was the 2nd option of Bute and Froch, they're fighting each other so how does that mean Green backed down.

Froch didn't enter the picture until after Green pulled out. At least that is the way it looks. Supposedly Green called off talks because he wanted Froch? Now you claim he was second option? It looks like he just cleared the deck cuz he wanted none of either when it got right down to it. Probably was dumb enough to listen to Greg Leon again. :-(

Right. That's how I know it as well. Not to mention Green going MIA a week before a show on FNF.

So you think Bute or Froch rather than unify would want to face Green? Why wouldn't he want a title shot? Who are you implying he wants to fight then?

Unless I'm mistaken, his point was that a fight with Bute was on the table for Green. Bute originally was going for Green then a big money rematch with Andrade. Green stepped back because he wanted to fight Froch first. Froch completely side stepped Green instead to fight Bute. So Green wasn't a 2nd option, he was the original choice for Bute...backed away and burnt himself in the process.

He's contending against your point that Green was a secondary option.

None of this makes sense, hence the comic nature of the whole thing. Ask Green cuz none of the rest of us can figure it out. Green has followed HORRIFIC advice from Greg Leon before. Maybe he can answer that one.

Yeah I see but just because it was on the table first doesn't necessarily mean it would have went through and been signed. Bute could have sidestepped Green instead of Froch. AN offer you get or make first doesn't mean it your primary or target of interest.

Well yeah. As we can see now.

The whole plan...was Green then Andrade for Bute. It was pretty much as close to written in stone as humanly possible. Then Green stepped out and the options for that stay busy fight went dry. Now they're talking about unification because they couldn't get anything going.

This wasn't the plan. Everything you read from the sheets in Montreal will lead you to that conclusion. This is making the best out of a potentially bad situation.

Did you start this thread with a second account or have someone start it for you so you could get out of the thread where the Canadians were kicking your ass? :?
