For October, this is going to end badly for the white rhino, I know big mak ain’t looked as good his last few fights and has been exposed but that’s at a much higher level than Allen. Makhmudov to win by tko late rounds.
Makhmudov was on IG earlier this month begging for a fight against AJ. I think it would be a stupid match up. Casuals don’t know who he is and as you said he’d likely beat Allen so what’s the point? I’d have thought Hearn would be keen to milk this Allen “run” and get two or three decent fights under his belt before the inevitable defeat. They should have just paid Lenroy Thomas for another fight. Sells easy with the casuals as a “redemption” fight.
The people who like Dave Allen won’t know who Makhmudov is so you may as well have got someone with a proper padded record in.
The hype around Makhmudov pre-Kabayel fight was insane on this forum. He didn't look great against a 43 year old Takam and post-Kabayel he took a heavy defeat to Vianelo. Despute that I think he has something for Allen but there's nothing to suggest Allen isnt a live dog in this fight. I think he may even win this handily.

Hope Allen smashes him. Makhmudov received way too much love on this forum before Kabayel did a number on him.
Dave will need to weather an early storm and try and come on strong down the stretch. Not sure he can do it. As limited as the Russian is, he is a level above Fisher.
I’d much prefer Makhmudov vs Bosh — that’s a better matchup. Kabayel already showed us where the other guy’s really at. If he can’t hurt Allen or keep a consistent jab in his face for 10 rounds, then we’re looking at Fisher 1 & 2 all over again.
people are really getting carried away with Dave Allen (again). this will end up like the David Price or Tony Yoka fight.
Think they’ve jumped the gun here… can’t see Makhmudov being granted a visa to fight here. Unless he’s got another nationality? Residency? Edit - he resides in Canada. Not sure if he has citizenship though
