Yeah, by the time he went to 135 Hector was at 140. They fought in the end but Hector had slowed down a step by that point and got a good pasting.

I reckon prime for prime he'd make it more competitive. Chavez is just the better fighter and a notch above, apart from pure handspeed (and it was SOME handspeed) Camacho has never really impressed me.

Although he'd lost a step, there eventual fight was so one sided I can't imagine Hector doing a whole lot better at the time it was originally mooted.

 

You'd enjoy the JCC fight then, he took a lot of punishment and showed a lot of heart that most people at the time thought he didn't have.
