With so many boxing fans routing for only their own countrymen I am wonder how many American's are routing for Abraham or are Abraham fans in general. I'm American and will be routing for him against every other fighter in the Super Six. I think Nationalism in boxing sucks.

I'm certain that come fight night the arena will be chanting Wards name but I'm wondering if there'll be any Abraham fans in attendance that night.

I Agree. I am an American but would like to see Abraham win the tourney. He is a very good fighter with some amazing highlight reels.

I was very impressed with Ward's last performance as well and he would be my second choice.

Nationalism in boxing does suck. I always pick a fighter based on his fighting style, and his personality. I dont care what race or country he is from. There is always someone you can relate to from all parts of the world.

I'm American and I will be pulling for Abraham. Abraham can punch and take a punch. Thats my type of fighter I don't care where there from.

He's fighting Dirrell, not Ward, and the fight is in a heavily Armenian area. I suspect the crowd will be pulling for Abraham, not to mention that Dirrell has probably turned off a lot of American fans after his "performances" in the Froch and Stevens fights.

I'm cheering hard for Abraham in any Super Six matchup except Kessler (or a very unlikely Taylor rematch if they both advance from the Group Stage). :good

A number of us said we would know more about how the tournament might play out after the first round of fights, and I think we were right.

Taylor looked like a mere shell of his former self. I think he is done. Pavlik stuck him in the oven and turned the heat on. Froch cooked and plated him. All Abraham did was stick the fork in. If JT can mount a come back, it will be one of the most stunning come backs of my lifetime.

Where actual skill is concerned Froch/Dirrell was one of the worst displays of a general lack of boxing skills I have ever seen in a "world title" fight.

Ward/Kessler was more a matter of Kessler looking really bad than a matter of Ward looking exceptional. Kessler may very well be in a down hill slide he can't recover from.

Abraham may be the favorite right now, but that's only because the 5 other combatants are nothing special.

I'll be honest, I could give a **** who win's this tourney? (Country wise)
I'll stick by my original pick in Ward regardless.

If AA wins it all cool, Froch, Kessler ect..
(Just glad to watch them all beat eachother down)

Im from the UK and am rooting for Abraham, but wouldn't mind Ward taking it. I like Abraham's hunger. He really seems like he is desparate to win this and become a legend in America. You could see in the Taylor fight that sometimes that he would get very frustrated with himself after getting caught like he's thinking "c'mon Arthur, this is you're big shot! Don't make any dumb mistakes!"

people want abe to win because of the guys from the usa are blacks.if kelly pavlik was on the usa team then the people rootn against the usa would root for the usa.this is black fighter / white fighter thing.everyone wanted kessler to win and the next white fighter.well no one will beat ward and direll would be his toughtest fight.the rest of the eruos get out boxed the best one just did.
