What do you think? Will he be the #1 P4P fighter when Floyd and Manny retire?

#1 P4P? Not sure if you are an obsessed fan or someone who really doesn't like him? Haha he has a chance of being the number 1 welterweight when they retire depending on who he fights but he would have to beat both guys to even be considered P4P top 5 let alone P4P #1

P4p has always been a fairly spurious designation. And yes there is absolutely no reason why welterweight champ (if he even manages that) has to be p4p #1.

I'm sick of that being the only division p4p lists care about, hopefully with the departure of floyd & manny someone will catch a wake up.

    Not p4p #1
I dont think he gets floyd fight in may so that would leave a fmj fight for sept, he will have to beat someone very relevant to get the sept fight vs fmj and the only non puncher is bradley any other relevant fighter can bang so he may face a puncher and that will be the acid test.

It's possible because he is in a division where 4 of the top 10 P4P boxers reside, and there's an argument that can be made that if he beats Mayweather he would be up there at least in the top 5.

I very much doubt it but he could probably give Mayweather a good fight styleistically.

I can't believe how many posters on here mention if he beats floyd he'll be this and that, does anybody seriously see him beating Mayweather? if so why? What has he shown to make anyone think it possible? none of the usual speed kills etc i'd just like to understand how anyone sees him winning. Now we have a thread wondering if he wins could he be number1 p4p in the world.laughable. I don't hate Khan but i don't rate him either as a p4p top 10.

Khan is a good fighter, esp. being careful with his defense. His speed is awesome and he does have power. Don't underestimate him.............
