I know, I know - we generally don't care much about female boxers around here, right or wrong (myself included). This one piqued my interest for a few reasons. 1) She's halfway cute - which is usually how a superficial chauvinist pig like me first takes notice of a girl fighter. This content is protected 2) She's been taken under the wing of Freddie Roach - which is always a sign that there's some raw talent, as Freddie isn't one to waste his time frivolously (unless maybe he's guilty of the above noted item #1 :think). 3) She's at least good enough to have fought on TV (albeit in Canada) which is fairly rare for a woman; she has also in a 10-fight career challenged three different times for a vacant super bantamweight world title of one of the major organizations - winning twice (losing it once before regaining it). She was dropped by Roach after loosing a fight. She has a big following but needs someone to teach her some technique. Im not into female boxing since you can have 4 professional fights and fight for a major tittle.
she's more of a fighter than I'll ever be. takes guts to step into a ring. I'm not buying the hype though.
