    Silva is amazing but at that level of the sport it is often mental. I think Okami was beat mentally. He did not want to engage like he said he would. Anderson had way too much time to get off. Didn't Sonnen tell Okami about Anderson set up! Silvas timing and accuracy to kd someone with a jab is awesome.

    I think he was a bit bewildered with Anderson's feints and angles as well. He's never had to deal with the like before and it showed, he just froze as he didnt know what to do, and when he finally went forward he paid for it

    Totally. The guys who will bite the bullet against Hendo will have the success. Few will have the ability to go skill for skill. So you got to go heart for skill. Guys like Sonnen and Hendo both went for it.

    Agree with you Stoo. It's one thing reversing it in training and another looking into the headlights on the night.

    Okami's gameplan did suck. Did he think he could out-strike Silva?

    Perhaps Okami read too many of your posts Popkins, about how well Sonnen did striking with Anderson Silva and became overly confidant.

    That's what I saw. He was a lot slower than what I've seen of him before.
    I thinks there's definitely someone who can beat him. In fact I think Okami had the ability as well.

    People are scared of A.Silva when they step in the cage and that's already half the battle that Silva doesn't have to fight.

    Okami came out with **** game plan, **** his pants and just couldn't pull the trigger. Disappointing.

    I don't even like Chael Sonnen but I really think he's the only one who's not afraid of Silva and thats why he did so well first time.

    anderson is the p4p best fighter however he has fought in the weakest division there is all 1 dimensional fighters that just stand infront of him waiting to get ktfo. Anderson would lose to jon jones, and would probably beat gsp imo as gsp has a suspect chin.

    GSP wont fight him. Serra ****ed up his confidence so you can just imagine what Anderson would do

    It's VERY important to understand the woeful level of striking in the UFC. Silva hails from one of the BEST MMA and Muay Thai academy's MMA has EVER produced. MMA simply does not have this kind of elite level calibre striker any more. In days gone by they were in an abundance. Against the mediocre striking we see in the UFC absolutely it flatters him.

    Belfort is the only one with Anderson level striking, I`m sure he gets a shot again if he keeps winning

    Yeah, funnily enough Belfort remains the major threat to Anderson due to the speed and power he also has.

    :lol::lol::rofl:rofl:rofl:patsch

    Keep telling yourself that Wanderlei's caveman bum rush was "elite level calibre" and that Igor's windmilling was better than Dos Santos or Velasquez's boxing.

    What a ****ing delusional dummy and basement virgin you are. You have a tattoo of a defunct fight organization that you never had the slightest bit of association with thereby branding you permanently as a DISGRACEFUL nuthugger who is more than likely choking the chicken to PRIDE posters of swimming sperm and Japanime porn.
