I'm going to reserve judgment on Andy Lee for the time being. I did not get to see this fight because I tuned in to late. Mainly I think Steward hyped him to much to soon, so when he fell from grace, he fell HARD. In reality he is still just an undeveloped prospect, and no one should have been talking seriously about him fighting Pavlik by the end of '08. As long as he keeps winning, he'll be okay, provided he steps up in gradual increments against a variety of styles.

I'm a big Lee fan but was very disappointed in his performance tonight.Sipos was all elbows and arms early on and his rough house tactics unsettled Lee.Whoever said Lee is too agressive must be blind, he doesn't throw enough punches or enough combos to keep his oopponent off him because he can't fight a lick on the inside.
His right hook is excellent but why do we only see it 5 times a fight. His jab is effective when he throws it properly and not pawing klitscho style.
Manny Steward is gonna ruin this kid

If Pavlik did not ruin Rubio, he might be a good choice. The kind of emotional/mental beating Rubio took was probably far worse than the physical beating. McKart, Ornales, Rubio; all known names with tons of experience and different styles. All on about the same level right now. I'd be happy about Andy facing any two of those guys on FNF.

Ol Bronco would probably be the most inviting option with his lack of pop.

Southpaw, lack of power, and a real good chin; might make for a very good learning experience.

That doesn't make sense. Wlad knows how to clinch extremely well.

That may be the case...but he talks **** plain and simple.

A lot of people in the sport do but when your in the ear of a young kid coming up telling him you are going to be a HOFamer and ATG cause I said so, its like poison..its happened time and time again.

I agree. If he could snap the jab he might keep oponents off him. Hell of a beard though.

Lee never deserved the hype he got.

Even in a weak division he's going nowhere.
