What do y'all think of him? Where can he go from here? I know the Vera fight was a letdown, but he definitely can bang. Thoughts?
I think the Vera fight will only do him good. I like Andy Lee, he has good power, and some pretty nifty skills. He just needs to make sure he learned his lesson, and stays disciplined in tough fights and he should go far. He needs to clinch when in trouble, too.
Titlist material...but thats not so much of a distinction anymore. ****en steward..poisoned the kids head with all the future ATG & HOF talk. He is impressive physically and offensively..but he is a front runner who lacks versatility and imagination. That will still take him pretty far if he is matched right but he will never ever get close to the **** that Steward was barking on about when he was unbeaten.
Manny Steward put too much into Lee. He should've never been saying "This kid cleans out the MW division" and rushing things with the dude. Lee still has some good skills. Power in both hands, decent hand speed, technically sound. I mean he just needs to fix his defense a bit. He's too damn tough for his own good.

He's got size, skill and power. He's got good heart too as the Vera fight showed, he was still fighting when the fight was stopped. Still very young, he hopefully will have a long career ahead of him.
:good The mark of any good fighter is take defeat in your stride and he will have learned from the Vera fight ,that talk is one thing,delivering another.ATG's have to be "greats" first...I think he has the potential & will contend one day.
Andy is a very good fighter, he has talent and he likes his sport, this is what he wants I'm pretty sure he will be one of the best middleweight fighters very soon :bbb
