Damn you guys figured it out, indeed I'm a huge ***. Before I go announce to my wife and little girl, I'd like to take this opportunity to retort.

There's nothing masculine about looking like a ****ing clown, assuming you append baggin birds to being masculine. I mean you don't have to be Versace to see that Navy Blue shorts and Royal Blue shoes look ****ing ******ed. You don't have to be Ralph Lauren to know that when I feel air on my balls, my shorts are probably too short. Hey call me what you want, I'll be all that ****, but what I won't be is the mother****er who went on TV in the biggest fight of my life looking like ****.

OMFG, please stop with the "it's not a fashion show" bull****, the original post was a semi serious jest post, regarding something I felt was funny. Secondly, Andy didn't "start good", he landed a decent shot in the first that pissed the kid off, the kid came out and beat his ass for the better part of five rounds, problem is the kid got tired and allowed Lee to catch him with a shot, period. Neither Lee nor MeCwon were "good fighters", I mean come the **** on man, I was trying to avoid the obvious "Lee looked like complete **** last night", as I felt that was a given. Kirkland would have beat both these guys, arguably if they were in the ring at the same time, but definitely if it were back to back fights. One kid has a glass jaw that most of the top MW's would have shattered far before the 10th, the other may have blocked 10 punches the entire night, and looked like he was punching at the bottom of a pool. I give Lee some credit for pressing through the middle rounds and eventually landing his punch, but no ****ing way he does that to anyone work a ****, IMHO.

Nah... I'm with ya on this one. I mean by the logic of everybody bitchin', nobody would care if Kobe or Labron showed out in some ol' little ass shorts and ****, cause folk only care about points made in the game?..ok.

Or what if Tiger Woods walked out on a Sunday at the Masters with some old 1970 tight plaid **** on? All good as long as he wins? NOT!!! He'd be blasted...BECAUSE, if you gonna be on HBO, that kind of **** DOES matter.:yep
I'm gonna guess that folk against what you said either didn't see that ****, or are huge Lee fans or something.

IF Pavlik come out there to where I really was concerned his meat might be on display with my fam watchin' or whatever, expect I'll complain.

Rep, it's basically just that the meat & potatoes part of your post - #3, about Lee not looking good for a big chunk of the fight (which is a legit talking point) - kind of got buried under the goofball stuff. It's just about portioning, basically. If you had thrown in the shorts and haircut comments on top of like a whole paragraph breaking down his shitty performance in those middle rounds, then it might help to have steered the conversation in the serious direction it ultimately took in a more expedited manner (and without you getting any heat for seemingly just sweating the silly **** :yep)...especially with peoples' short attention spans on this forum meaning they'll already be hitting the "reply" button before they've even gotten to #3. Just my two cents. :good

You forgot to mention Lees brother who has been up his ass ringside in all of his fights, including before Lee even got big in Ireland. This guys hair is even worse somehow and he wears the same sick tracksuit for every fight! Lee's winning nothing with this guy in his corner. God ko last night though.

Dude, please spare me the "holier than thou" just started watching boxing bull****. I know my ****ing boxing, and neither one of these dudes have any business in the ring with top level guys. Pavlik would destroy either one of these guys inside 4 rounds, these guys aren't "prospects", a prospect is someone you could see possibly being a draw, being a champion, actually doing something of some consequence in their respective division. How in the hell could anyone even remotely make the case that either one of these guys not only don't have "it", they don't even have the tools to make "it" relevant. They are flawed fighters with little to offer, other than killing themselves on the undercards of real boxers.

I get it, like I said earlier, it was more of a joke and just "talking ****". I went this route because in terms of legit boxing talk what's their to say outside of "these two guys are pretty bad and will never really amount to ****". I respect they went out and gave all they had, they have families and are trying to make a living, and I can certainly relate to that but in that case so does most every fighter. Either way, I feel where you're coming from, I just assumed the "boxing talk" stuff, was pretty evident and a given, which is why I focused on the lighter side of things.

Thats why Manny steward took such a big interest in Lee. He saw a lot of potential there. He has quick hands when he gets going, has a good right hook and left hand. Hes also a good body puncher and an effective counter puncher. But theres a difference between having potential and unlocking all of it. Lee is frustrating because he has the ability to be a major force, but it just hasnt clicked for him yet. I dont know if it ever will but Steward great trainer that he is should notice this performance and try to correct Andy's flaws, most importantly his defense

he's a good fighter but not a great one...his power will give him a "puncher's chance" in any fight...

    Good points, good post.

Andy has been with Manny for some time now though. '07 and '08 Manny was toutin' Lee big time, blowin' big time smoke in the press etc. You don't hear any of that much any more from him is what concerns a little.

Business is business so it's easy to understand why Manny was at the main event of a major PPV card instead of with Andy. Just a way different "feel" around that whole situation to what it was a few years ago.
