I agree, hes good but he wont be a hof or anything like that. However if he can improve he could be world class and pick up an alphabet title. But he definetely has the ability to fight better than he did last night, wouldnt ever put him in with Martinez though, it would be one sided.
My only problem with chalking them both up to "pretty bad and will never really amount to ****" is that Lee clearly underperformed while McEwan fought the fight of his life last night. It was a C+ guy in with a B guy, but the B guy put in a mostly C performance overall which almost allowed the C+ guy to win. Lee probably isn't a world beater himself, but should amount to a lot more than McEwan (who can be proud of his overachieving effort, as can his Scottish fans). He could cut himself out a slice of alphabet pie if he keeps his head straight and becomes a sponge for Steward's tutelage. McEwan will cap off at domestic/European champion level, and is far more unlikely to ever reach world level.
