I didn't see the Lee vs Gibbs fight so could someone tell me what happened in that fight? And why it was stopped only three seconds remaining in the final round?

I think Lee has a good chance to beat Pavlik. I also think Abraham has a good chance to beat Pavlik. There are some top level fights to be made at middle weight.

I think Duddy is in for a big pay day, but I don't think he'd beat Pavlik, Lee, or Abraham.

Unfortunately, I really don't think Vera's team is too keen on a rematch judging by what he said post-fight. I think he's out looking for a bigger payday, but I've heard zilch about any actual fight plans since the Lee fight. I'm surprised Lee fought before Vera did, to be honest.

I didn't get a chance to see this fight and I've only seen Lee fight Vera, so that's all I know about Lee. From what I saw against Vera I was very unimpressed. Lee reminded me of a poor man's Jerry Cooney against Lee. Was the Vera fight just a really bad night for Lee?

What on earth are you talking about, even in defeat Lee looked better then Cooney ever did. Andy was easily winning the Vera fight at the time of the stoppage, it seemed like after he got cut he was forced into a slugfest. Not only that but he showed amazing chin and heart, even though he was getting hit alot he was indeed fighting back and never went down.

Andy Lee is a decent middle. He will absolutely get KTFO with ANY of the elites INCLUDING sturm. I think sturm is an underrated middle, nice Jab, underrated power, excellent defense. I like Lee but I see him as a gatekeeper!

can we remember what type of opponents kelly pavlik was fighting when he had 17fights?sorry **** that, even after 20 fights he was fighting people with losing records, and you are calling lee a gatekeeper already ... he's 24 ffs and as for elites, what elites are there in the mw division,0!pavlik ain't elite, abraham ain't elite and sturm is way off elite,at the minute andy is a b- level fighter but with time and experience he can definatly get to the levels that is needed.

he had an off night and he came back brilliantly from it tonight, jesus hopkins lost his first ever fight, lee simply used the wrong game plan in the vera fight and it went awfully wrong,he deserved to lose but everyone can get it wrong and a perfect record is not the absolute everything in boxing.

Lee lost. So what? He beat someone better than Vera in his next fight and beat him convincingly. No he's not on Pavliks level yet and will take awhile to get there but for god sake man, he's 24 with 17 fights!! Give him a chance. Yes he's getting a lot of hype but nowhere near as much as before the Vera fight and nowhere near what a lot of American fighters get.

Lee is a prospect. Not an elite, not a gatekeeper, not a journeyman, not a contender. A prospect.

im just sayin compared to lee...pavlik is elite

also u cant compare their records...pavlik was doin things other ppl couldnt do...knockin out guys who have never been knocked out...aka winning in AWESOME fashion...today performance by Lee was not awesome...it was good...but not awesome

dont get me wrong...i like Lee as a fighter but u guys are hyping him up a little too much...if he steps up now he loses...plain and simple
