Tough one to call, but I side with Angulo by KO. You can rave all you want about Kirkland, but fact is Angulo has superior technical fundamentals and in an all out war I think that gives him the edge.
Angulo looks like he is in slow motion when he fights, hell Julio was outboxing him at times, I like speed so i gotta go with Kirkland assuming he hasn't regressed.
If this fight does happen and kirkland fights how he did before he got locked up i think this could be one of the most exciting fights there is.
the one with the toughest chin is gonna win....both can bang and both are slow, but perro does go to the body a lot so who really knows...... the fans will win for sure !!!! i would love to see these guys make millions instead of saftey first type of fighters....
How much does Kirkland weight in 2010? And can a young man like that still make 154lbs? (When he get's out the joint)
If kirkland tightens up his defense then he wins by ko. Angulo is really slow. Kirkland is just technically flawed & sloppy.
In all honesty after watching both fight & progress. If Kirkland comes back and by some miracle is still able to make 154lbs. I would take Angulo. In a shootout, I think His chin would hold up better than Kirkland's.
i'd normally be inclined to say Kirkland........but after this stint of inactivity who knows either way, no chance in hell that it would be boring
