I would honestly use a ring noise only audio function for boxing. Sometimes I will put it on mute just to cut out distracting commentator nonsense.
Never liked Mauro though lately I feel I can stand him more than tessitore I liked goosen so it made me more tolerable of Mauro last night Not sure how I'd rank the commentary maybe worst to best espn, dazn, pbc? I feel Grisham is better than tessitore and Mauro with goosen better than mannix and kreigal and mora better than Bradley I like Shawn porters commentary and Bob papa could do well

Rightly or wrongly, I associate MMA-style hype with the younger generation. While I don't watch MMA myself, I can't avoid the commercials for their shows which always feature some hysterical commentator mindlessly screaming out some non-entity's name like it actually means something significant. It's an endless display of mindless hyperbole. That's how I'd describe the Showtime gimp's commentary style.
