A 41-YEAR-OLD US journeyman named Bronco McKart was named yesterday as Anthony Mundine's latest opponent. It was Mundine's chance to win a legitimate world title. Instead he will fight a has-been in a small Vegas casino in an attempt to lure WBA super light-middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather into a big-money fight. The reality is Mayweather would know and care as much about Peter Slipper as Mundine. To get to Mayweather he is going to fight a 41-year-old who has fought just three times in the past six years, winning three. Wow, you can just imagine the US boxing world standing up in admiration of Mundine should he beat McKart. Mundine has spent most of his 43-fight career dodging any fighter who represents a serious danger. I don't include Daniel Geale, Mikkel Kessler, Danny Green, Sven Ottke and Sam Soliman in that category. In my opinion, Mundine has made a lot of money fighting bums and hoodwinking people like you and I into paying for his fights.
