British fighter got well beaten las6t night, I admit I thought Swifty was going to do something big in the sport but he was absolutely man handled and destroyed by Selby who btw I had never seen or heard of. I was impressed with him but would like to see him in with Simpson before I make any judgement on him, if he does that to Simpson then we have a very good fighter on our hands. On another note Liverpool fighters are getting their arses kicked bigtime at the moment....next up that big mouth Bellew....cant wait.

I tell u what ****ed me off last night was the favouritism of sky when smith got ktfo. I know the pundits were smiths friends but give a fighter credit where credit is due. It was ****ed up the way selby was given hardly no praise after the fight. A ****in 100-1 underdog came in and ripped the belts off the favourite. How often does that happen in boxing and they just sat around like they were at a funeral?? OK , Bellew and Price cant exactly jump for joy but it was up to smith to at least stoke up the guy a bit ,the ****ing shithouse. Sky at least should have Lee on ringside on thurs for a bit of fanfair and exposure. Watt was the only pundit tonight who gave the boy credit.

Yeah it was disgraceful they way Price and Bellew went on. They had faces on them like smacked arses. As a pundit your supposed to be impartial. Selby was good but Smith hasnt impressed me at all in his last 3 fights, he should have lost his last 2 against Simpson and now this .

Rob Palmer was saying he was going to be a future p4p top 5 .haha not in a million years Palmer you twat.

They are both friends of Smith's and probably didn't know a lot about Selby. Blame Sky for having two pundits that were always going to be incredibly biased in Smith's favour. Selby was always looked at as nothing more than the opponent and the entire show was set up to showcase Smith.

You must not have heard price and bellew say "credit where credits due to selby",of course there obviously not going to be over the moon that their personal friend got beaten and beaten well in every department but to slag them off is a bit unfair, they were as honest as they could be and did give credit to selby, maybe not enough but they didn't just dismiss his superb performance! I think that's the hype with the smiths over now anyway,Liam is not even domestic level,Paul has never improved from his early Years and fighting Samuels at this stage of his career speaks volumes for the quality he has, hope groves does a number on him,as for Stephen every scouser had huge hopes but the 2 Simpson fights could have went either way and he got dominated last night, hard to come back after that but for me he is domestic level at best,Hope he recovers well from last night tho

Considering bellew and price just watched a lifelong friend get k.o'ed they did very well they gave selby credit for the win and didn't just blame it on smith looking bad which he did, Iv never seen smith as sloppy and clumsy not the right style for him IMO!

More **** coming outta your mouth! Still hiding behind the ontheup logo! You clown! All these comments coming from a guy who said he was gonna slap me when I was in Manchester shopping but didn't cos I was with my mrs, when in fact I've never been shopping with my mrs in the centre or triangle or printworks like he stated!

Your a toss pot son! You keep hiding behind your ontheup logo and prentending to be the biggest hardcase in Manchester! When in reality you've probably got school on Monday morning and are just about to hit puberty!

All you do is spread hate, try and learn to APPRECIATE eh ;-)

While I'm gutted for Stephen last night I did say Selby has arrived at the European and possible world stage! While I tried to give Selby as much credit as I could I was genuinely in shock, I may have seemed a bit biased but never once stated it was not a great performance by Selby, I think the kid is a great talent who is gonna be in some fantastic fights! He deserves so much credit cos he went into the lions den last night and walked out unfazed and with a whole new set of fans!

He done great, on another note, I wouldn't write Stephen Smith off, he re-evaluate and I think he'll learn from this and use it to his advantage one day! I wish both a lot of luck in there futures!
