Why i would love to see Stephen Smith go back to the rotunda :think

 

I find myself having to switch off to the Box Nation team of broadcasters or ill just cancel my account

I cannot stand Steve Bunce , the setup is cheap , that sofa is ****in ridiculous , and there best pundit is Paul Smith

Anthony Crolla , having just been stopped by Derry Matthews is giving his expert opinions on Floyd Mayweather vs Miguel Cotto seriously .......................

 

If Crolla isn't fit to give an opinion then it doesn't say much for the rest of us on here.

This is an open forum for boxing " fans " , when your tuning in to the elite of the sport and paying for it , you dont really expect Anthony Crolla and Paul Smith as cheif pundits for an occasion like that !! , well i dont anyway

Its like having Robbie Savage pundit the champions league final

 

Well said mate, he may have lost his last fight, but he's still more qualified to call a fight then most of us!

 

Crolla and Smith both did a very good job IMHO. Jamie Rednapp will probably be doing the CL final and he's never played at the level. Its a about being able to convey points across and be articulate.

 

The premier boxing channel in the UK , showing probably the biggest fight of the year to date world wide , featuring the premier fighter in the sport today , and the best that they can give paying customers is Anthony Crolla

Look , he's a solid fighter , nice lad , seems as knowledgeable as one would expect , but personally i cant buy into that !!!! , if it was a British Lightweight Title eliminator Crolla is your man , but not the sports elite , too big an occasion

In general i just have a problem with Box Nations whole production , i really do turn over when live boxing isnt being shown , i cant bear Steve Bunce :deal

There has to be a certain amount of credibility before im buying into some bodys opinions , thats me personally , others may or may not see it the same way , it has to be relevant to the occasion , Crolla was not relevant to that occasion

I think Crolla seems like a nice enough bloke,I like to see fighters getting work on tv.I think Smith does ok on boxnation as well.Has he retired as a fighter now?

I understand the point you're making, yes it would be good to have bigger names on the sofa (yes Gaz it is ridiculous), but I just don't think they have the financial clout at the moment.

But leave Buncey out of it, he's a legend! :happy

 

To me, someone gives an opinion, I evaluate it and agree or disagree. I'm no more likely to agree or disagree with Anthony Crolla as I am with Roberto Duran.
