Ahh that makes more sense. From what i saw of him at the SENI, had a hard time believing his background was MMA.

His background was primarily Kickboxing but he definately fought in MMA
before deciding to become a Boxer.

I saw this guy a lot with his championship fights.

Considering how late HW'S develop, Joshua got a much much higher window then Price.

I don't know if he'll be as good as Lennox Lewis, but at the very very least

he should be better then Frank Bruno ever was. Which is more then enough to dominate a old Wladimir in the future and the American C Rated Heavies coming through

It was a really interesting thread...

Joshua will be one of the biggest names to come out of the Olympics, there are huge pictures up of him around Stratford so none boxing fans will already have been finding out about the youngun. He adds to the mix of what is an exciting time for British HW's. I love hearing that his attitude is spot on, the money will come his way so I hope he has sporting ambitions beyond that. He is a born athlete and his resistance should improve in the next couple of years, continue with hard sparring now and he could be elite.

Fair play mate, at the risk of buying into the hype it could be 'a once in a lifetime event':good If it is Johsua getting gold then worth it for sure, keep your tickets for framing!

I've been given some football tickets for the mens football final, probably Botswana vs Chile

I haven't seen him either but he seems to be turning a lot of heads, I'll defintely watch out for him.

  15. That's actaully a really really realistic scenario.

Because by the time Joshua is elite, Wlad will be 40 and ripe for the picking. He always had a weak chin, age will not do him any favors.

Joshua is a ****ing freak in terms of abilities. I know people say look at Harrison, he looked good too. But not really... if you watch Audley the Fraud Harrison, he had massive weaknesses even back then in the Olympics.

We will see for this Olympics

Joshua got 2 other strong contenders

some American and a Eastern Euro
