In a recent IFL Kugan video AJ is asked about his chin approx 2.50

I have never heard of AJ been knocked down.

Are there worries about AJs ability to take a shot ?

I've never understood the big deal about a HW Boxer's chin.

At the end of the day you're going to be facing 16-20 stone lumps who are the hardest punchers on earth. You will get laid out eventually.

David Price done him in sparring a while back, but who cares? These are heavyweights. They can all punch and hurt each other. We'll find out about Joshua as times goes on.

ye its basically one division when thats the case unless your really iron jawed.
all best to be super fit for great recuperation abilities. that and a decent defense.

I think Bowe is a case in point he was easily stunned or hurt but no one could finish him off. He got knocked all over the place by Golota who was not a small man or puncher and kept in there. So being knocked down is not a worry it's being unable to recover that is.

I suspect he's hiding some china there.

    Next Audley Harrison. Fact.

Dillian Whyte KD'd Joshua when he beat him. Joshua lost by stoppage vs Nistor in his first international tournament.

He was a fairly raw novice back then & he seems to be able to take a decent shot. Plenty of great heavyweights got stopped in the amateurs but became very durable as professionals.

Thanks I didn't know that. Just looked up Dillian Whyte and there seems to be some genuine beef with him and AJ ,should be a good fight in the future.

With the Nistor stoppage it seems his corner threw the towel in after he took two standing counts.

But considering AJ has only ever lost 3 times and only knocked down once his chin seems to be ok.
