I realize Mundine has a reputation for saying one thing and doing another, but I just read a couple articles on Mundine/Geale, and Mundine says no Green fight, and no rematch with Geale. He claims he wants Pavlik or Sturm. Funny thing is, he also claimed Geale is a better fighter than either Pavlik or Sturm.

Sturm recently said he fully expects Pavlik/Abraham to happen. He picked KP to win, and claimed he wants him afterward.

It would be nice if ALL these fighters and their promoters would stop posturing, and make some of these fights happen!

You need to remember Mundine is a footy player.....so for a footy player getting the aussie title is huge let alone winning a few regular or vacant world titles.

So from his point of view he has fought the best....Ottke in his 10th pro fight...Ottke was 38-0 at the time and then Kess who was 35-0.

In Mundines mind he is world champ......the only fight for him is Pav.....as mentioned he has US promoters who train Mundine setting up the big fight with him as we type.

Forget about Mundine going to Germany.

Sturm wont come to australia because the $1mill Mundine will offer in not enough...Sturm makes more at home.

Mundine will hope a fight is set with PAV in the states as mayweather and Oscar are trying to do now

We always talk about how talent poor 160 is. However, the division does have Pavlik, Abraham, Sturm, Mundine, and maybe Williams. Somebody please make some ****ing fights happen!!!

No its not....Mundine was in his 10th fight against Ottke at 38-0

Mundine was way out of Ottkes level......and even so he gave Ottkee 10 hard rounds and was even or close on the cards until Mundine gassed out due to lack of fight ecperience

He has chances against Sturm...Pavlik or Abraham would destroy him...

    No, it isn't.

Mundine is one of my least favourite boxers, but even I can see that this is not an education answer.

Not only was it only Mundine'e 11th pro fight, but he had no amateur career. It was his 11th fight in total!

Throwing a fighter in with a world champ (no matter how shitty that champ is compared to other champs) in their 11th fight? It's amazing that he did so well.

It didn't stop me from laughing my ass off when he got starched though, nothing like seeing a dickhead get KTFO.

Ottke didnt have 38 fights in his entire career let alone at the time he fought Mundine. 10 fights or 20 fights Ottke can beat milk with his weak shots and he flattened Mundine.

But the truth is Ottke was 24-0 and Mundine was 10-0 at the time that they meet in the ring in 2001.
