Yes they are. I was inaccurate btw. Your first fight needs to be fought before your 30th birthday. You can fight as much as you like after that as long as you had your first fight before.

    i tought it was otherwise.
You should have your first fight before 30 indeed.
When you have your first fight before 30 then you can fight till you're 35 years.

RDJ, you should come here next summer and do the ringside tournament. I think you can fight in the master division until you're like 90 or something. :eek:ld

That sounds like fun, both going over there and competing in a tournament. Next summer may not be possible financially, but we still have a few months. Money may be coming my way soon :hey

Most Dutch people are definitely pussies. Not more or less than any western society but still.

Dont ever get a massage before a fight. It leaves the muscles weak. Thats what a massage does. BIG no no.

A massage two days before is fine. I'd be careful about getting one the day of though.

I think there's more to it than that.

I'm off now so we can roll out, actually. Is Rachel already there?

Sorry for the temporary hijacking, guys.

I never heard of the 30 rule, although yes, once you are past 34 you must stop. It's cause of the insurance that comes with your boxing passbook. The boxing association doesn't want to deal with higher premiums.

    about the massage:
It's great. before mine last fight a got a massage the day before my fight.
It's get me very relaxed and after a massage i really can get a good night sleep. The day of the fight i was fine, i felt strong and sharp.
So it works for me (one time, anyway)
