Dudes i think its terrible news. I've read he jumped in for some dude getting picked or mugged or something, then was shot by the offender. Gutless, that if you're gonna pick someone theres a chance some maestro's gonna come along n kick your ass and have to resort to a gun!!
It was just sweat to see the look on his face when he was given that welcome at the Entertainment centre. Jeff Fenech who got along well with him as he has a lot in common with him told him he would be heavily supported and Echols expected this. He was visible shattered at the response of the crowd when he came in to "Land Down Under" (which is a spastic cliqued song to enter to anyway - especially when a fight is in Australia).
