I'd never seen that..good post of some of the strange antics of cheaters. Another one was a Juan Coggi fight years ago. He was out on his feet and his corner man was holding him up from outside the ropes by his trunks while his opponent tagged him repeatedly.
I seem to remember the ref doing loads of other bizzare bollocks in that fight, didnt he deduct a few points from williams for no apparent reason as well or something?
yeah he deducted 4 points for low blows that didnt happen and allso scored a knockdown when williams hand never touched the ground let alon his arse and gave airich a 30 sec count when he was dropped but to see a promoter do that **** is unbelivable wats worse is i think the **** got away with it

This is probably why it got swept under. I recall all of ESB going MAD over the fact that NO ONE was reporting the "On-Goings" of that fight, then fight news released an article that said the BBBoC had been notified and were going to review the tape........that was the last I remember hearing of it though. Nothing else was said.
yeah that was a realy bad day for boxing the **** that went on in that fight was just down right wrong i felt bad for danny williams even though he did end up getting the win after being dogged by the dirty ref
