I don't mind them being critical of the matchup as long as they offer a balanced argument.

By all means point out the potential moral/ethical issues but also acknowledge that it's a huge fight, that might actually be a pretty good one, and it's one that a massive audience will tune in for.

They must be careful not to come across as hypocrites here............

From the channel that gave us Tyson in Britain, and Lewis/Rahman after their TV studio bust-up............

Anything other than a balance argument will just make them look jealous/bitter IMO

That's fair enough. Saying it's been a terrible week primarily because of the Chisora fight is silly, although Peterson failing a drug test is a very bad thing.

It's going to be a tough night for Ringside Bingo. Phrases on my card I don't expect to hear

"exciting times for British Boxing right now"
"it promises to be a fascinating dust up"
    "long awaited return of"
"the heartwarming story of Lamont Peterson, who grew up homeless on the mean streets of Philly"
"we sent Ed Robinson to investigate"

Haye/Chisora is a disgrace to boxing.

Haye/Harrison for £15 with only one undercard fight was gonna be great.

    On Ringside...

Adam Smith and Johnny Nelson will get right to the heart of the boxing news when they return to the Ringside studio on Thursday night.

The duo will be on air at the slightly earlier time of 5.30pm to reflect on a blistering few days in the sport, which has included bitter rivals agreeing to square off and a British boxer see his revenge bout get shelved.

David Haye and Dereck Chisora garnered negative headlines when they brawled in Munich in February, a fracas that ultimately cost Chisora his licence with the British Boxing Board of Control.

But the Londoners will be given a chance to settle their differences in a legitimate fight when they clash at West Ham's Upton Park on July 14, a contest that will be put on by Luxembourg authorities.

Adam and Johnny, along with special guests Bob Mee and Spencer Oliver, will dissect the upcoming contest and analyse whether it is positive or negative for boxing.

Amir Khan, meanwhile, has been gearing up to try and reclaim the IBF and WBA light-welterweight straps that he lost to Lamont Peterson in December.

But after his American counterpart failed a drugs test, the bout, scheduled to take place in Las Vegas on May 19, has been cancelled. The Ringside team will look at the fall out.

Elsewhere, high-flying welterweight star Kell Brook will be in the Sky Sports gym to inform us who his next opponent will be, while our US correspondent Dan Rafael will discuss all the fight news from across the pond.

Plus, the gang will look back on last weekend's thrilling card in Belfast, which saw Paul McCloskey come a cropper against veteran American southpaw DeMarcus Corley, and Commonwealth gold medallist Eamonn O'Kane win the Irish middleweight Prizefighter.

Don't miss Ringside, 5.30pm, Thursday, Sky Sports 4 HD, or catch one of the repeats.
