Not a sure thing by any means:nut

But anyone think it's worth putting a few quid on Toney?

Also, any idea what kind of money Toney is taking for this bout?

I think for someone looking to make a lot of money its wise. I mean its Randy Couture. He's been knocked out before. 3 times to be exact, and was almost stopped by Vera & NOG. Its not impossible to think if JT just lands once it'll be over. Its certainly possible. But is it probable? I don't think so. However anyone putting money on JT should come out with a nice reward if he wins because hardly anyone is giving him a chance. As far as the money he's making for this fight, I haven't gotta clue.

Yes ill be putting a $20 note on Toney at 5-1 odds over hear in Australia be stupid not too.

Because unlike in Boxing if he catches him flush with a Power shot it will be all over with those pissy little gloves.

How can you not put a 10 or 20 on Toney at 5-1.

I wouldn't bet on this fight because its totally 50/50 in my mind. If the fight is standing and JT lands with anything and its over, but if RC can clinch and take him down it ends just as fast. I can't see this going the distance, in fact i can't see it going to round 2, but i can't call a winner.

It's great piece of marketing by UFC whatever the outcome because every boxing and mma fan is talking about it, it'll draw a huge buy rate for them.

If you think this is a 50/50 affair, how could you possibly not put a few quid on Toney at 5-1?:huh

Those are fantastic odds for a fight in which you think he has 50% chance of winning.

I'd have to lay off RC as well who is vastly shorter odds, so the risk of both bets doesn't make sense arithmetically

I am not sure what you mean?

If you think that it's a 50/50 fight the prices should be around the same.
Usually the bookmakers will price it 10/11 or 5/6 each fighter.
So if you view the fight where both should be around these prices then the 5/1 on offer is great for toney and the coture price is a bad one.

Why do you have to lay off RC as well?

Just put your money on the Hoops for the SPL this season, money in the bank :D

It makes sense to bet someone at 5-1 if you think they should be evens.

I put 20 on Tony. I don't think he will win, but I like the 5-1 that I got, so what the heck.

When the Odds are right, I will bet...not much but will....I can think back when there was a fight. My friend wanted to go to Mexcio to put 100 down on the Underdog. 50 from me..and 50 from him. I said it would be lost money..so no way.....well Tyson vs Buster Happen and I looked and felt like crap with that money lost. Down in TJ woudv'e got 45-1 Odds. Ugh..still makes me want to puke.
