That's not the number reported. The number reported is this one. https://www.latimes.com/sports/boxing/la-sp-wilder-fury-20181202-story.html
where 17,698 who generated a $3.5-million live gate

As I said there may have been near 18k in the arena but they didn't sell anything close to 18000 tickets. A gate of $3.5 mil you are looking at less than 10k sold.

It's not my comparison chief! I'm not the one saying a bloke who hasn't fought in America is more popular than a bloke who just sold 325k PPV's.

Also let's not kid ourselves. If the BT sports PPV numbers were high Frank Warren would be shouting that number from the rooftops.

Keep up at the back Tony, we're talking about America. But again, feel free to rant and rave about things we're not even talking about.

If AJ does fight Miller in the states then you still can't really compare TV audiences with Fury/Wilder. The latter should always pull in a bigger audience because its a bigger fight.
In reality I think AJ Miller sells out an arena easily anyway and if AJ ever fought Wilder in the States then I imagine it would do way more bigger numbers than Fury/Wilder.

Until you've evidence of ticket sales under 10k, that's conjecture mate.

Can all the ladies settle down please. Yous are out in force tonight and it's a little embarrassing given that you're pushing the American popularity of a man, who has never fought in America.

Pacquiao v Broner sold 11k and did a gate of $6 million.

Wilder v Fury did a live gate of $3.5 mil. Now of course there would be price differential but was Pacquiao v Broner really nearly double the ticket prices of the 'biggest HW fight in over a decade'?

"Now of course there would be price differential" - answered your own question mate. I don't know the difference in prices. You don't know the difference in prices. What we do know is that Manny Pacquaio is a global icon, and Adrian Broner is a proven star in America. Their fight was also in Las Vegas which means the price differential was high.

But either way surely you accept if the LA times number is correct then $3.5 mil isn't great.

You must question why no number was released from the commission when it's normal practice.

Numbers numbers numbers. The usual couple of lads, still sat in their suits from work with their c***s in one hand and calculators in the other at the very mention of AJ’s figures. Yawn.

A.) Where did I say it was great?

    B.) I hadn't give it any thought.

I merely said you've no evidence that less than 10k were sold. You're yet to supply said evidence.

That's because there is no evidence
    It's all opinion based

If you want to have a conversation about who's more popular then numbers are going to come into play. You can't rely take any issue with that.
