Archie moore said Yvon Durelle hit him harder then any other fighter encluding rocky marciano and floyd patterson what do you guys think,i guess he was the guy taking the shots
Moore also said Marciano got a long count, and the ref yank the Rock's arms to bring him to, BUT you dont see that on the film. He was able to take Durelle's best, but not Marciano's or Patterson's.
Archie Moore also walked down the street on his hands. He was a pot head, don't believe anything he says.
As much i respect the word from a fighter himself, i don't put too much value into these "who do you think hit harder?". I already have trouble imaging how hard someone hit who i sparred a year ago, and here we are talking about fights with as much as a decade separating them! I think it should be seen as a psychological assessment rather than a physical measurement of sorts.
who would ever know for sure,lots of ppl on here with their opinions but they never had to take the punches did they.
