People said Cotto is a counter puncher too and he IS a counter puncher, a good one as well, what made countering difficult against Pacquiao and **** easy againt Concreto the tomato can?, speed. Pac had speed to ruin whatever countering plans Cotto had, Concreto was a typical punching bag with concrete in his gloves. Don't get me wrong, Cotto's speed is very very underrated but Pac, after round 4, started to show he's faster because of how badly Cotto was hurt it took a lot out of his legs that he only started getting some steam back in his punches in round 6. This wil be hell for both guys, that's for sure. It's a 50/50 fight, anyone that says it will be a walk in the park for Mayweather is confusing me.
Anyone who think Pac would demolish Mayweather id deluded the man is too good. However they are well matched I think itd be close on the cards and ifPac can put together the right gameplan he could do it..

Manny just absorbed Miguel Cottos best shots and then beat him up. Nothing that Floyd has to offer will intimidate him, trust me. Marquez was a long time ago and: 1) Marquez was a VERY good fighter then, make no mistake. 2) Pacquio has evovled a lot since then, so those fights are laregly irrelevent. If you want a decent comparrison, look at ricky Hatton. Floyd took 6 rounds to really get on top of him, and Hatton had become so dismissive of Floyds power that that he was happy to lunge in repeatedly with his face first. Im not saying Floyd wont win, he might. But at welterweight he has never dealt with anything close to the form Pacquio is in now. Your assumptions about Floyd "technical abilities" guaranteeing a win here are silly.
