Arreola adamek is a good fight, I am still not convinced Adamek is going to be a great heavy, he never hurt estrada and he was landing a lot, maybe adamek will get better though, he did the job in front of him but i can see why fatso's camp would want the fight. they should have no problem taking adamek's punches but it doesn't mean they won't lose a ud

    interesting fight

arreola does'nt have the speed and style of dawson which is what befuddled adamek until he started to (finally) figure it out a bit

Bad idea for my boy Tomasz. He needs to be 215-220 tops. :bart

I'll believe it when I see it, Fatteola has a terrible attitude to training and lifestyle, but if he can get down to 235 he should beat Adamek. Even at 260 he has a good chance to beat Adamek who is not a HW.

if a former light heavy beats a top 5 heavy it will be a sad day for heavyweight boxing

Arreola hasn't always been a fat ****. Here he's not slim by any means but he's in much better condition than he is today.

And here's Arreola a few weeks ago:

So extra fat makes Arreola a bully but extra muscle makes Adamek too slow. :huh

Not at all. It would make Tomasz Adamek one of the greatest of all time. :D

Its all go to the point of how you express the punch on opponent's chin.
It seems that both of them have strong chins, while Arreola hits harder and
Adamek faster and more precise ... so the bullying depends on who will
be more successful in enforcing his strength, the actual weight is less significant.

250 isn't 'extra' fat for Arreola. I don't think Adamek has the natural punching power Arreola has at any weight, and I think his gameplan should be to outbox and beat CA by decision. For that I think he should maximise his speed by sticking to about 215. If it just came to both gys slugging it out, I'd pick Arreola because his chin is more tested at heavyweight and we've already seen that he can continue to throw punches into the late rounds despite taking a shellacking (against Klitschko). I'm not trying to have a go at Adamek as a fighter, I just think styles decide this one.

Is this guy a hype job or what? Even at this low weight he still shows minimal muscle mass. Where is the so called "power" coming from?

Watch his fights in the build up to the Klitschko fight. His power isn't just speculation, he has demonstrated it.

edit; I think he was a hype job in the build up to the Klitschko fight, BUT I think after the fight he was suddenly underrated by everyone after showing some good qualities and a lot of heart against a world champion.

Watch Klitschko-Arreola. He demonstrated zero power.

Vitali is hard to hit cleanly, as I'm sure you know. Maybe I overrate Arreola, I certainly rate him higher than most of this forum, but I think as long as he turns up in reasonable shape to fight Adamek he will win it

Agreed. Adamek should either stay at 220, or maybe even go down 2-3 lbs.

I don't get why they think bulking him up will help him. It's not like he will outmuscle the big Arreola, so the weight doesnt really do him much good. It will take a toll on his stamina, and maybe even his speed at this point, even though he has been able to hold on to that thus far..

He is good at the weight he is at now. Besides gaining that much weight in what...1.5 months? Since he is taking a month off now. Doesnt seem like a good idea, or even realistic to be honest, unless they plan to feed him fast-food up until the fight. I don't think this is true. I hope not anyways.
