If this article is going off of legit information, then a Wilder-Thompson fight would be preferable. That's a very interesting fight, if he's not going to be facing Povetkin (the WBC mando) in his very next fight.

I think Wilder-Povetkin will be ordered in October and take place mid-2016. Wilder probably gets two more voluntary defences.

It will be a Haymon fighter so that eliminates TT. It will be the worst fighter in the WBC top 15 that Haymon has which is Artur Szpilka or Arreola.

What a joke the WBC is for sanctioning all this ****. Why not just give the title to Arreola so he can be the first Mexican Heavyweight "Champ".

I thought Tony Thompson was with Haymon? I don't see how an Arreola fight would sell. I mean really he already got pasted by the guy Wilder pasted.
