Plain and simple, Tua needs to do whatever he can to get out of his contract and get signed with Don King. Some will hate that, but King will get him a title shot...Kushner can barely get him a fight, period.
I actually agree, Damon King is exactly what Tua needs right now. Three years of top earnings and then retire. 3 title shots - like Ruiz. That would do it.

All Tua needs to do to give the ok on the money, and the fight is made. All CK does is work out the details. Tua knows what he wants, and what he's willing to settle on. I heard that HBO is interested. And the fight is close to being signed. Any word?
I don't think it's quite dead, Arreola's TBA could be a keep-busy fight, but the window of opportunity to get it made it shrinking day by day.
Arreola is fighting Israel ? next month, with a fight scheduled TBA in November. Anyone know his plans? Will it be against Tua in November? I heard that HBO wanted the fight...
Wow, I just realized that it's been almost a year since Tua last fought. He's too old to let that much time go by. Even if he was just KO'ing guys like Montoya and Fox he'd at least keep his name out there. I'm not sure if the blame rests with him or with Kushner, but he's wasting valuable time.
Thanks Mexican. I'm very, very disappointed in my boy. At least Arreola wants to fight. Tua not fighting for a year is Tua's fault, not CK's. Tua had a fight in November of last year, and cancelled it to go to his aunt's funeral. A close business friend also died. He then said he spent the first part of 2008 saying he needed to spend time with his family, and his court case against Barry and Peewww, his former managers. Then he cancelled the fight in Odessa because he didn't want to get injured for his upcoming fight with Arreola. Then he doesn't fight Arreola because of the lack of $$$s. Excuses, excuses, excuses. Man just doesn't wanta fight. Very frustrating.
