From what i have read and details i have absorbed i think he was murdered too, the only thing is proving it in a court of law which is difficult to say the least...

I think Brazil did a shitty job in their investigation...

They threw away the mold when they made Gatti. What a warrior.

I have my own theory. I think the investigators were paid off. As soon as he took his last breath, Gatti's wife inherited everything. For all anyone knows, the cops may even have been paid BEFORE he was killed. The Canadian authorities sure as hell didn't agree with the Brazillian police's findings.

I think his wife and whoever she used as an accomplice is as good a suspect as any. They had been fighting for months according to what she and others said and she was his sole beneficiary. When Gatti's body was transported back to Canada, the examiners were certain it was murder.

Is there anyone who is NOT a fan? The kid gave everything he had, every time out. Can't ask for more than that.

I agree. The man never stopped throwing shots and he never quit. He also had an outgoing and fun loving personality. The type of person you'd like to hang out with for an evening. Mickey Ward was lucky to have such a friend and opponent.

Gatti made for some really exciting fights (stating the obvious).

People always talk about the Ward trilogy, but both guys had a lot of fights better than their last two fights against each other.

Gatti's fights with Rodriguez, Ruelas, Manfredy, and Robinson were all entertaining. Especially the first Robinson fight.

I know quiet a few pro boxers in real life. And the general consensus is that Gatti killed himself. Do you guys forget that same night Gatti beat up a bunch of guys at the bar? Which normal street guy is going to be able to beat up Gatti and hang him? Gatti may be small by boxing standards, but he is all muscle. Not even 3 regular men would be able to just go in there and do that to him.
