Does anybody believe his wife had anything to do with this ? I read on of the first reports last night on this and it specifically said that the wife and child were both unhurt and I thought "????? Marks around his throat and blood on the back of his head ?" Hope not but its rumoured they had been having trouble. I'm gonna see if anythings coming out on this
I agree with whoever it was on the General (never thought I'd type those words) who thinks it was definitely the wife but what they're not sure of is whether it was a money making opportunity or if she snapped after a beating as he's supposed to have a quite a bit of previous in beating women. :-(
Yeah thats what I was thinking pretty much. It seems she is the main suspect with the police too. I will not let what he has done outside of the ring (Heard the wife beating rumours myself) spoil my memories of what he did inside it. Great Shame. I remember reading an article in the ring (When it was a decent mag) around 6 years ago when it did a spread on him rejuvenating himself due to the love of his wife helping him through some bad times and the fact that he was now with McGirt. Surely this wasn't THAT wife ? She looked blonde and American not hispanic and he seemed really happy with her ? Did he remarry or was this her ?
If I recall correctly they had a very bitter split around the time of the Baldomir fight. Rumour was she was going with Buddy.

Gatti definitly beat his wife it aint a rumour. Like i said before he may have done things wrong but he was a misguided man
