I love how the greatest fighter between Arguello, Forrest, and Gatti, got the least amount of press for his death. People were all over Vernon and Arturo when they died and nobody gave two shits about Alexis. ****ing pisses me off.

I'm no DA or cop, but I'd think you could come up with $$$ or revenge as a motive. Arturo's wife was supposedly the beneficiary of a life insurance policy that had recently been changed. Plus Arturo was seen by people in public beating her up (and then he punched some guy trying to intervene). I'm not into the "armchair psychologist" theory of looking at Gatti's fights and concluding that suicide was impossible. Life is more complicated than that, plus there's the correlation with brain trauma and alcohol abuse with depression/suicide. What I do think gives the murder theory more credence is that investigators apparently tested the purse strap and said it was unlikely to support someone of Arturos weight. That and the life insurance policy mean much more to me than trying to judge a guy's mental state and inability to kill himself because he had amazing heart in the ring.
