Arum has huge problems. Cotto and Pavlik just lost. Margarito lost the most this year with the scandle. He still has Lopez but is far from a big name. Chavez is still bring in the money but not sure how long that will last. He'll probably get beat soon, so Arum is trying to cash out with a hoya fight for Chavez. Manny is his only guy on top right now, but he looks to retire sometime this year. Arum looks to use manny as leverage. I find it funny that Arun is really trying hard to make a cotto/Pacquiao at the same time I hear reports of him and cotto in the outs. Arum looks to bribe cotto with a pacquaio fight. My question is: What good fighters those he own?

I hope Arum sticks around. He's good for boxers.
Margarito- limited fighter, under arum makes him a big player in a very deep division.
Pavlik- took on fights he needed too. Hopkins was a bad match up for him. I think Arum will guied him to the top again
Cotto- I tought Arum brought him along just right.
Dela Hoya- turn him into the biggest cash guy around.

He those the same thing to Lopez, valerio, and nonito. I think he also has guzman.

    he has Pacquiao

and Valero, Donaire are both good names

Cotto and Pavlik are on the comeback trail. And Cotto does hold a W over Mosley.

He has some good names still

Just because a fighter loses doesn't mean he's exposed or washed up. That's what's wrong with boxing fan mentality.

When great fights are made, unfortunately there has to be a winner and a loser, unless it's a Don King promotion.

By the end of 2009 Pavlik and Cotto will be bigger and more hyped than ever.
