This is probably in the wrong place, but, since I mainly post here, and sometimes on the Classic board, I thought I'd throw it out there... Saturday Josesito Lopez is fighting Ortiz. Lopez is from Riverside, CA, and I have been familiar with him for some time. I knew his original trainer (he died a few years back, when Lopez was undefeated), and I think that I may have had a kid that sparred Lopez, though I am not sure. I spent a lot of time in those gyms in Riverside. I'd sure like to see Lopez win, and I thought that if we all kept our fingers crossed, maybe it would do some good. If Lopez comes and fights his fight, I think he'll stop Ortiz, but a little extra good will never hurt.
I don't know much about Josesito, but I always like watching Ortiz catch a beatdown and you're a cool guy so I'm in.
That was a great performance from Lopez against a much bigger and stronger opponent and at short notice. He's got a new fan. Clearly, this lad has the tools to trouble any of the top guys at 140 - good luck to him !!!
