I would actually like to see him in with a top British figher....Junior Witter if hes carrying on would be good. Maybe Matty Hatton for the Euro. I don't know if he plans to stay at 147 after this or drop back down to 140.
I personally think his career wont move any further forward just like after the Corley win. He doesnt have the leverage to get a big fight unless its as a late stand in. Hes to much of a risk with no reward for most fighters.
Ash keeps himself very fit between fights, always training. So as a last minute sub he would be a dangerous opponent. I think he is toying with the idea of going down to 140. I will ask him.
He is a good fighter and its a shame he is avoided as much as he is.Trying to push his name forward as a British title challenger probably would not be a bad idea.
Maybe they'll chuck him in with Canelo. He was planning to fightRodriguez, and maybe they'll feel Alvarez could learn from a trickier style? Doubtful, as it's risky, but I feel it's a good fight for both. Failing that, Theopane could try and stir up a European title fight with Matthew Hatton.
