Dunno if anyone has noticed or if anyone has any more news but boxrec have Asley Theophane fighting over in the states on an ESPN FNF card the end of february against Danny Garcia.
He beat Demarcus Corely so the Americans would have taken note of that. I'm not sure about Ashley Theophane. I saw him on an excellent Left Jab show at York Hall last summer, against Mark Douglas, and I thought he wasn't as good as I had been told. The fight was exciting but I thought his defence left a lot to be desired and that he lost.
He's doing the best with what he's got, but he's not particuarly brilliant. He's somewhere between smooth and ragged.
I like Ashley. Shouted his praise a few times on here and it is great to see him in some good fights but a shame that he has never got the opportunity to fight near championship level in Britain since his good run started.

Best of luck to him against Garcia who can blow hot and cold. Ashley's clearly been bought in as the "opponent" but maybe he could spring an upset :think
Really nice fight for Ashley.....Garcia is regarded as a top prospect so its a chance for him to really make a statement. I did take the time to watch a few Theophane fights last year and I wasn't overly impressed. He did have some decent skills but little power and not active enough. Good luck to him though...will be watching :good
I'm on the Danny Garcia bandwaggon, he's the truth! Lol Damn I guess it was close to a year ago when I saw this kid fight for the first time. Couldn't believe he was varying those crosses so well working off that 1, then in mid flight Danny pulls away from a right and temples this heavy handed left hook. Alotta Sharks in the water at Welterweight, but I like Danny upside when he steps up the competition. You heard it here first before the Funny Farm at HBho get the casuals wet for this charismatic upstart.
He's a very slick boxer, I think he lacks effectiveness in the ring though. He's supposed to be a cool guy though, even though he would have probably robbed you a few years back.
