You don't have to start hating on Hatton just because he's fighting your boy next, we can just discuss the upcoming fight from a boxing, styles etc perspective without you trying to drag Hattons record and achievements through the mud.

This has defineatly been on the increase from certain Pacfans since the fight started looking like its a certainty to happen. Its childish and theres just no need IMHO.

    agreed

this is a good fight for both fighters and the fans alike. hatton at his natual division where he is very very hard to beat. pac man coming of the biggest win of his career way out of his natual weight class. this will be a war and will be very close to call at 140 i cannot wait for this one!

Yep i agree, lets just admit its a great match up. Both are great fighters the both styles make it hard to predict.

Very true, it was more to get it off my chest than of any real hope that things will change.

ok. i've always liked hatton. the guy's a nice and genuine chap. like him, i'm a big beer drinker and frequent pubs and beer halls.

the recent hate on hatton has been triggered by hatton fans hating on pac. if we all agree to stop all the hate between these two fighters, then we can all have a civil and knowledgeable discussion of this upcoming fight.

i personally havent seen one hatton fan 'hating' on pac,&pickin hatton to beat him doesnt mean you're hating on pac either.

I can't recall any hating threads from Hatton supporters either, I think most Hatton fans acknowlegde Pac is extraordinary fighter to have achieved what he has but think (hope!) Hatton at 140 may be a step too far and Pacs record at 130 lbs+ is getting a little overrated.

It's a bit stupid if they do as their demeaning Pac's achievement should he manage to defeat Hatton!

Agreed. As a PacFan I haven't seen much Pac bashing on the part of Hatton fans. I'll tell you who's most guilty and that's the Calzaghe fans. The JC fans that feel he belongs in the #1 P4P spot can often be seen demeaning Pac, his fans and his accomplishments.

I've always had respect for Hatton. I did pick against him when he fought Mayweather as I felt he was overmatched. I will pick against him this time as well, not simply because I'm a card carrying *******, but also because I believe he's overmatched this time. This fight 2 years ago would have been a bit more intriguing. At this stage I think Pacquiao is simply too fast, too strong and believe it or not too slick for Ricky Hatton. Taking nothing away from Hatton, like I said I've got much respect for Hatton and I think his fans are a riot!
