I think Oscars condition is relevant to a Pac-Hatton fight but I agree that those early loses around Flyweight are ancient history and won't have any bearing the upcoming fight at all.
some fans will probably say that hatton is shot or past his prime if pac manages to beat him. i just hope hatton fans are different from all other fans here.
I give pac his due for fighting DLH so I will certainly give it to him if he beats Hatton. Hatton is number 1 at 140, there is no denying that would be a legacy defining fight for Pac.
i'm a pac fan and i don't hate on hatton. in fact, i feel that hatton should be the favorite here coz he is well settled at 140 and undefeated at the weight while pac has yet to have a single match at this weight. he only have two fights above 130 as of the moment.

ok, we said no hating, right? and the reason dlh didn't throw that much punches was that pac was beating him to the punch. even before dlh can throw a punch, pac was already tagging him with his quick and sharp lead lefts all fight long. dlh has some difficulty with southpaws and that's why pac used this punch to control the fight. hatton also has difficulties with a southpaw. i won't be surprised if pac uses the same weapon vs. him.

Hatton won't sit back like a lemon and let Paccy hit him like DLH. He'll close down the ring and will force his way inside to try and make it a brawl. The question is, will he take more damage coming in (like he did against Mayweather), than he can dish out when he gets in close..
I'm not being hypocritcal or picking on Pac fans, the reason I brought up Pac and Hatton is purely because I'm a Hatton fan who wants to discuss the fight in a reasonable manner (ie. without getting called an "*******" like you have just done) and some of hate on Hatton is purely because he's fighting Pac next rather then based on any reasonable opinion.
some of this hate on hatton is due to hatton fans hating on pac for the very same reason you cited. the main pre-occupation of pac fans here in these forums is to defend pac from all the hate be it from jmm, calzaghe, mayweather and now hatton fans as well.
Christ! OK I give up. Surely you can see from which direction the vast majority of this hate is coming from (even a Pac fan in this thread has admitted it)? I can't speak for Calzaghe, JMM fans etc but there is virually no hate that I can see coming from Hatton supporters, just a load of "Hatton is chinny", "Who has Hatton really beat" type threads that mysteriously started appearing when the Pac-Hatton fight was announced.
