I'm expecting a break out year from Tomlinson, he has been very good so far with an undefeated record, love watching him fight.
Good list MB. There are plusses and minuses here. On the positive side - there's a worthy name against each division, and that's not possible every year in Oz. On the negative side - it's a pity we haven't got the depth of good fighters to be arguing hammer and tong that 'he' should be in instead 'him' etc.

Didn't say it was THE definitively correct list mate - just said GOOD list. Best result is that there's some argument about the list - worst possible thing is that Oz boxing can only offer one decent name in each catagory. Argue away...
Leapai would be my run away selection for fighter of the year. Stoppage wins over Mirovic, Travis Walker, Owen Beck and then beating Darnell Wilson on points. Good to see him keeping busy.
Katsidis's spirited efforts In Europe & North America do it for me over anyone else. After that perhaps Geale & his climb up to an IBF Middleweight Title shot. Vic has put on some great efforts also & you must respect Lovemore N'dou giving his all anywhere anytime.
