    I know Damien Hooper has secured his spot in the 81kg division but haven't been able to find any other info about who else will represent Aus.

    anyone have the news??

    edit: just read that Luke Jackson is goin to captian the team and believes that the winners of the Aus championships will more then likely take the Olympic spots. Also that Aus wil train for the games in Northern Ireland

    Damian Hooper is the guy who bet Joe Ward before isnt he? I will have to have a look some footage of him.

    Oceania games are on in Canberra this week . Gold medal winners are in the team and only gold . Exept 81kg where hooper already goes. I'm not sure if another country wins that 81 division I think they go if they win gold example Fiji or new Zealand but not aust

    Aust titles already happened aust and new Zealand are aloud to take an A and B teams to Oceania games

    Is this our boys last chance aswell or does the aussie championships decide it?

    If Hooper gets a good run...he is a big chance of getting a medal I reckon.

    Yep this is it gold only goes . Let's hope we get all divisions I don't think we have ever had 11 Oceania golds and a full 11 man Olympic team syd was 9 I think and 9 in Athens and does anyone know about 2008??????

    By the way if hooper gets the luck of the draw in London aust will get there first medal since Cheney in 1988 maybe bronze possible silver

    I just wrote that I'm not sure if another country wins the 81 there Olympic council might pass him I know hooper is in from the worlds spastic

    Watched hooper at the comm games trials, talent to burn... Speed, power.. Great footwork .. Only weakness can hold hands down at wrong times of a fight sometimes.. Oz best best chance of medal..... Did jai opitia make the games, I know he is only young but kid has talent

    Damian hooper is going to be something very special in Australian boxing i think he will defenetly win a medal at the Olympics and a big chance of our first gold
