One of the most fascinating things about boxing to me is how some fighters or able to beat the odds, the mental advantage that a fighter who has already beaten him has, beating him in return.

    Who did this the most?

Bennie Briscoe is a personal favrite of mine here.

Fighters that beat Bennie that he drew with or or defeated in turn...

Joe Shaw (Reverses MD loss by TKO)

Stanley Hawward (Reverses SD loss by UD)

Percy Manning (Reverses PTS loss by KO 4)

Tito Marshall (Reverses PTS Loss by KO in 1)

Vincent Rondon (Reverses UD loss by TKO

Juarez De Lima (Reverses SD loss by TKO in 2)

Luis Venales (Reverses PTS Loss by TKO in 7)

Carlos Monzon (Loss UD 15, also took Monzon to a questionable draw)

Eugene Hart (Avenges Draw with KO in 1)

Rrichie Bennet (Reverses PTS Loss with a PTS Win)

Nick Ortiz (SD Loss, also a PTS Win.)

Not counting the fighters Bennie only faced once and lost MD's to SD's to.

Basically, until the very end of his career, Bennie basically defeated everyone who beat him.

    Bad, bad man, that one.

..............Bennie looked absolutely homicidal, like he should have been put away.

Are there any fighters who proved it as often as Bennie, though?

Joe Louis was legendary for his ability to dominate rematches ....

Lennox Lewis was exceptional by reversing both career KO losses by rematch victories ...

I don't know of anyone who ever beat more men who had previously beaten him then Briscoe, but for fighters who didn't lose as much as Bennie, Carlos Monzon lost 3 fights in his near 100-fight career and avenged all 3, plus pretty much dominated Briscoe in their rematch of their 1st encounter (the draw most feel Briscoe won).
