Eubank knocked Collins down early in the 2nd round of their 1st encounter, clearly. Ref didn’t count it. Collins actually won that round 10-9 on all three when it should’ve been 10-8 Eubank (which would’ve kept him his title and 0).

Ol' Andries clipped Hearns in the tenth.

It would have made little difference, but the ref should have counted as the Hitman got up, rather than giving him a help in hand.

If I remember rightly; in-between clinging on for dear life and getting thrown out; Akinwande did land a right, that made Lewis touch down for a split second.

Pat, man, you threw out a conundrum. I watched this and rewatched it and it is a tough one. In the end I'll say no knockdown because of the way Duran's leg slid out from him as if it is a slip. However, having said that, he was hit at the same time so this is a fine line. A real toughie.

Rules, thanks for posting this and time-stamping it. Another toughie. Mostly because the camera is around Holmes' waist and the viewer can't see his legs. Did his knees buckle or did he slip? Today, we would have had this from different angles. Another close one, mostly due to lack of technology. Would have loved to seen the full view as Holmes was buzzed at the time.

Florentino Fernandez v Rocky Rivero. Check this out at 1:44. Did he lose his balance on his follow-through or did Rivero hit him with a left at just the right time? Man, its close.

From what I've gathered, Holmes was really overwhelmed and hurt by the Weaver barrage and basically stumbled to the canvas. That "slip" has been considered a knockdown by most of the fight fans I've known since 1979. In fact, it was wide knowledge at the time of the Cooney fight (when quite a few people thought Cooney would floor and ko Holmes) that only Weaver, Shavers, and Snipes had knocked Holmes down to that point.

I think I remember the ref as being an unknown geriatric. The fighters aren’t coming to kind though.

Here is Pernell Whitaker against Dio Hurtado. Check out 19:54. Hurtado is against the ropes and appears to nail Whitaker with a right that drops Whitaker to his knees. However, jumps right up and starts hammering away at Hurtado. It really looks like a flash knockdown and Whitaker jumping right up and into the fray conned the referee. It was smart, but definitely a flash knockdown.

Tyson the same. He was clearly KDed by Bonecrusher.

He did put a glove on the floor, but it would not make much difference.

This is an interesting one. There was a lot of forward momentum by Tyson, who may have tangled his feet. However, off balance as he was, he was tagged at the moment. One of those split-second judgement calls.

Another tough one. The question here is did he land a right or pull him down with the right? It appears the camera angles change just as he's landing the right in one frame but in the next it looks like the right lingered on the back of his head. Man, that's another toughie.
